Trinity Conduits: Advanced Resonance
How single, dual, and triple resonance create permutation depth from a simple core.
Permutation Framework
The system scales in three tiers:
- Single Current: clear intent, low flexibility, lowest debt rate
- Dual Resonance: tactical combinations, increased instability
- Trinity Conduit: emergent effects, nonlinear output, severe debt risk
With six currents, trinity count is fixed: C(6,3)=20.
Why Trinity Exists
Trinity is not a bigger spell slot. It is a synchronized cognitive state where three currents lock phase and produce effects unavailable in lower tiers.
When lock is stable:
- Output scales faster than linear expectation
- Effects become less predictable but more adaptable
- Mnemonic debt accelerates sharply
Guardrails For Use
- Trinity should be short-duration and goal-specific
- Repeated trinity use in a single encounter increases identity drift
- Casters should downgrade to dual or single once objective is reached
- Institutions that demand routine trinity usage create disposable mages

Entry-Level Rule For Readers
If readers remember one line, use this:
Single explains a technique, dual explains a tactic, trinity explains a legend.
