The Field: Omnipresent Consciousness

What The Field Is

The Field is the consciousness substrate of reality. It is everywhere, but human interaction is weak and noisy without Azhur's Ore.

In system terms, it provides two things:

1. Structure: the six resonance currents
2. Potential: vast extractable cognitive-energy under specific conditions

Structure Layer (For Casters)

• Hosts the six Amesha currents used in casting
• Enables perception of living flow and corruption patterns
• Carries mnemonic imprint, which explains long-term identity drift

Reservoir Layer (For Institutions)

• Large-scale extraction is feasible at Nodes of Power
• Extraction at scale requires infrastructure, ore arrays, and channel labor
• "Infinite reservoir" is theoretical; practical access is politically gated

Temporal Behavior

Field coupling can create limited temporal anomalies:

• Symbolic prophetic fragments
• Memory echoes in place or object
• Near-future hazard sensing in narrow windows

Clarity degrades rapidly with uncertainty, distance, and emotional noise.

Lore Connection

The Field is where deep-cycle events leave residue. This is the bridge between everyday casting and the cosmological scale of Nemand, the Broken Sun, and div emergence.
